Seeing undigested food particles in your stools is not abnormal. This is especially common with vegetables such as corn. Plenty of vegetables are rich in cellulose, an organic compound that cannot be digested by humans since we lack the enzymes capable of digesting it. It’s also common to for seeds to be visible in the stools. However, if your stools have a high amount of undigested food on a regular basis, there may be a problem. Your body may be lacking the essential bacteria that help in breaking down the fiber in food. However, if your poop is mainly composed of undigested food, there may be a problem.
