MICHELLE LUALLEN
LETTERS AFTER MY NAME:
MSW (Masters in Social Work), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor), LCAC (Licenses Clinical Addictions Counselor)
EDUCATION:
Masters in Social Work from Indiana University (2006), Bachelors in Education/Special Education from Butler University (1983)
FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB:
Meeting a diverse group of people. I often say that I learn something every day from my clients and I am so proud to walk their healing path with them.
BEST HEALTH ADVICE:
Find an activity that you love doing and do it for the enjoyment you receive – the health benefits will then come. We can’t expect to be our best selves overnight – start slowly with small goals and celebrate your small victories. Even the smallest of successes can be hugely motivating!
MOTIVATION FOR HEALTH:
My grandchildren. I want to be able to engage and be active with them long into their adulthood. By showing them that I can be active and enjoy it, they will see that they can too!
FAVORITE HEALTHY FOOD:
Smoothies – I make them everyday as a way to get protein (yogurt) and fruits in a fast and filling way.
